The Hole in the Wall Restoration Committee met in the afternoon of August 9 at the Ministry of Tourism Training Center. The Committee discussed the results of the assessment expedition and finalized the major points concerning the installation of the lights in the lantern room as well as the installation of plexiglass in that same room to protect the lights from bad weather. A major point of discussion was devising a way to warn heavy equipment operators of the danger posed by the cave system located around and under the road to the lighthouse. Other topics of future concern were brought up also.
