Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Perry G. Christie, led a delegation of cabinet ministers and officials to view the new terminal on Wednesday, May 25 to view what he called a ‘major accomplishment’ for the people of Abaco.
Minister of Transport and Aviation, Glenys Hanna-Martin, said that they are deploying a technical officer to stabilize the port in Marsh Harbour after receiving reports of the poor conditions at both the domestic and international sides.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Works, Philip Brave Dave and Minister of Transport and Aviation, Glenys Hanna-Martin, along with a group of government officials toured the new airport terminal and control tower at Marsh Harbour International Airport during their visit on May 27. According to Mr. Davis they are looking at opening the new airport in August of this year.
