As the sun rose on a bright clear Saturday, volunteers were busy preparing for the 3rd Annual Jingle Jog. Held on December 12, 2015, the Jingle Jog is a 5k and kids one-mile fun race to help support the Man-O-War Youth Fitness (MOWY). People of all ages were out to enjoy the event, from babies watching on the sidelines to grandmothers and granddaughters crossing the finish line together.
The Second Annual Jingle Jog was run in Man-O-War on December 13. The 5K Walk / Run and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run was hosted by the Abaco Swim Club. Though only in its second year, it is already becoming a favourite tradition of the island.
Over fifty runners came to compete in the Jingle Jog 5K and more than twenty children signed up for the 1 Mile Fun Run. The Jingle Jog was held on Man-O-War on December 14. Some embraced the season and came to the run dressed in Santa Hats or costumes. The event was set to start at 9:30 am.
