    Every Child Counts School ‘Goes Green’

    Congratulations to students and teachers of Every Child Counts School who, since September 2013, have been working towards making their school more eco-friendly. They were interested in acquiring the ‘Green Flag’ certification and the entire secondary section of the school participated.

    Man-O-War Primary School earns International Green Flag Award

    It all started out by Man-O-War Primary School’s teachers introducing the idea of Eco-Schools Bahamas and the Green Flag. The students all thought it was a great idea to do our part to take better care of our environment. Throughout the year the entire school worked together to become an Eco-School. Looking back, President of the School’s Eco-Committee said it is really special to recognize that each student was dedicated to this goal.

    Forest Heights receives Green Flag certification as an Eco-Friendly School

    Deep Creek Middle School in Eleuthera was the first school to receive Green Flag Certification in The Bahamas and in the Caribbean, and now Forest Heights Academy has joined the ranks.
