A hand-full of residents showed up at the second general township meeting of The North Abaco Local Government District Council on April 23, 2015 at the Fox Town Primary School.
On Friday, March 13, the new Preschool Unit was officially opened in Fox Town. Many turned out for the momentous occasion to experience the historical event at 10:00 am. The Preschool plaque was unveiled by the Hon. Jerome Fitzgerald, Minister of Education, Science and Technology and Mrs. Yolanda Curry – Principal of Fox Town Primary School.
The Abaco Zion Baptist District Convention paid tribute to four great men who have been labouring in their communities for over twenty years. They were: Rev. Dr. Allan Mills – Ebenezer Baptist Cedar Church Cedar Harbour, Rev. Eulin McIntosh – The New St. Andrew’s Baptist Church Coopers Town, and Rev. Ezekiel McIntosh – St. Thomas Baptist Church Wood Cay.
The Government of The Bahamas has the responsibly to protect and manage the Fishing Resources for the benefit of the Bahamian people. They must enact policies that benefit everyone in the short and long term. Many of those persons living in North Abaco who depend on fishing for their livelihood came together in a community forum to address those policies and standards pertaining to the fishing industry.

As many around the world join hands in giving back to the community and thanking God for the many blessings He has bestowed, Fox Town was no exception. Members of St. Chad Anglican Church under the leadership of Catechist Christopher Russell and members transformed this little church, which is located in the center of the Fox Town Community, as a distribution center of sharing the greatest gift of God which is love.
Nestled in the northern end of the Fox Town community, the Open Door Church Ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Lyndon McIntosh and his wife, co-pastor Jacqlyn McIntosh, saw the need to rededicated the ministry on Friday, November 15.
Fox Town, Abaco came alive for three days on the 20-22 July when former students of Fox Town All Age School honoured Ralph Hanna. Mr. Hanna, affectionately known as "Teacher Hanna," was flown in for a special celebration and thanks for his contribution to the community some 50 odd years ago. There was a flurry of activities designed to show their appreciation for the great work he had done during his eleven years as Principal of Fox Town All Age School (1958-1969).
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Works, Philip ‘Brave’ Davis, signed several capital works contracts on May 27 for projects to be done at Marsh Harbour International Airport as well as a pre-school to be built in Fox Town. He noted also that the new airport terminal is projected to open in August this year.
