    Chinese Ambassador tours Abaco

    On April 2, the Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, Yuan Guisen, arrived on Abaco. He was greeted at the airport and immediately taken to the Office of the Prime Minister in the Marsh Harbour Gov­ernment Complex for a banquet. Before the meal he was introduced to those in at­tendance which included island administra­tors, representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, Customs, the private sector and other government officials.

    Abaco student shares her college experience in China

    Pamela Smith, a 2011 graduate of Forest Heights Academy, is now attending Beijing Union University (BUU) in pursuit of a degree in International Business and Trade. Smith has already completed two years of study at BUU in addition to learning to speak and write in Mandarin.
