The Abaco Youth Football Association (AYFA) opened their third season of youth flag football on September 19 with the Cooper’s Town Hawks and the Murphy Town Tigers – the league’s two newest teams – facing off on an overcast day.
The flag football championship game was held at the Murphy Town Park on February 7. The Green Turtle Cay and Marsh Harbour teams gathered on the field to face each other. A large crowd of supporters had assembled to watch the three games making up the finals. The games were televised live by Cable’s NB12.
