Ten swimmers from the Abaco Swim Club travelled to Nassau on January 27-28 for the Barracuda Leno Corporate Services Invitational. The team of Addison Albury, Victoria Albury, Silas Albury, Emily Sims, Noah Albury, Brayden Dam, Paxton Albury, Kiana Hicks, Roman Pinder and Dakota Sawyer swam a combination of sprint and distance events.

The Abaco Swim Club had a team of eight swimmers travel to Nassau, January 29-30. Participating in the Leno Corporate Services Barracuda invitational swim meet were Makayla Roberts, Jewel Pinder, Katie Sands, Roman Pinder, Brayden Dam, Erica Roberts, Serena Newton & Victoria Albury.
The Abaco Swim Club travelled to the Royal Bank of Canada / Bahamas Swimming Federation’s National Swimming Championships with their largest team yet who competed and earned a total of 33 medals and finished in fifth place out of twelve swim clubs.

Abaco Swim Club had a busy January, travelling to Nassau to attend Swift Swimming’s 25th Anniversary Meet Jan 16-17 and BSC Insurance Management Invitational Jan 30-31. Abaco Swim Club travelled to Nassau with 32 excited swimmers to participate in the 2014 RBC National Swimming Championships which took place between June 19 & 22. The team consisted of swimmers ranging in age from 6-14 years old.
The Abaco Swim Club held a fundraiser at the Jib Room on Friday, May 23 to assist with travel costs and fees for swimmers attending the 2014 RBC Bahamas National Swimming Championship and also to aid in the purchase of a reverse osmosis system for the pool in Hope Town.
