Family Harassed by Police, Mistaken for Paparazzi?  

A family of four was fishing off the beach off Bakers Bay on March 10 at about 2pm in the afternoon. The two young boys (aged 8 and 10) were enjoying a day on the water with their parents and a local from Guana . They were doing some catch and release of small fish in the protected waters close to the Bakers Bay Resort.

As Managing Director of Bluff House Beach Resort & Marina, I have, like all the folks on Green Turtle Cay, been clamoring for years for someone to fix our island roads. The charming town of New Plymouth, the stunning beaches of Green Turtle Cay, the beautiful and popular resorts of Green Turtle Club and Bluff House Beach Resort (the oldest resort in the Bahamas’ Out-Islands) are big tourist draws. Visitors come to our resorts by ferry or by boat rounding the Whale, neither of which is as difficult to navigate as traveling by local golf cart.
