Thirteenth Annual Writers Read Held in Hope Town

The thirteenth annual “Writers Read” presentation was held February 25 and 26 at Hope Town Harbour Lodge. This annual program is free and open to the public, but tickets are required, as space fills up quickly for both evenings’ performances.

‘Swan Song’ Book Reading Shares 100 Year Old Author’s Best Work

It was a special occasion at the Abaco Inn on February 11 when more than fifty people gathered for a book talk, signing and lunch to celebrate the 12th volume of poetry by Adelaide Cummings. Mrs. Cummings has been a second home owner in Hope Town for many years and is well loved within the community; so friends were delighted to come and help her celebrate on this memorable day.

Songwriters Festival Embraces “Chill” Event

The 3rd Annual Patrick Davis Songwriters Festival was held in Hope Town during February 17 - 22 and was organized by Firefly Sunset Resort. The Songwriters that performed this year were Mark Bryan, Kylie Sackley, Johnny Bulsord, James Otto, Cory Crowder, J.T.
