Rotary Installs New Interact Club at SC Bootle

On November 7, 2018 the Rotary Club of Abaco inducted its third Interact Club on the island at SC Bootle High School in Coopers Town.

The Interact Club elected their board members on Nov 1. The board consists of: President: Whitney Mitchel, V. President: Chelsea Cooper, V. President: Elycia Russell , Treasurer: Stanfior Ferguson, Secretary: Scottia Ferguson, Sargent at Arms: Delgardo Parker and Club Directors Kaitlyn Russell and Claudine Brave.

The other two Interact Clubs are at St. Francis de Sales and Forest Heights.

Interact is the youth branch of Rotary for high school students seeking to learn leadership skills and give back to the community.

The Interact Club of SC Bootle consists of forty-nine members. The faculty advisors are Mrs. Alice Rahming and Mrs. Sabrina Russell.

The Rotarian advisors for the Club are Desmond Bootle, Valerie Dean and Ettamae Jones.
