Police Seek Suspect Following Unusual Shooting Event

Police on Abaco are investigating an unusual set of circumstances after a man, who was shot at a nightclub following an incident, disappeared.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) in Marsh Harbour have confirmed that they are currently searching for both the victim and perpetrator.

According to reports the RBPF said they are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a night club on Saturday, September 8 in South Abaco.

“We are seeking to interview both the suspect and victim in this matter,” the police report stated.

However, further details on the incident were not made available.

Police on Tuesday, September 11, released a wanted poster for Rashad Ashton Fox in relation to the matter.

According to reports Mr. Fox has previously been held and charged in connection to other crimes, including boat theft dating back to 2015; however, he was not convicted in those matters.

Police are asking anyone with information on this incident or any other crime to call 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or the Crime Stoppers hotline at 328-TIPS.
