SHOOTING INCIDENT – ABACO

Abaco, Bahamas – Police in Abaco are investigating a shooting incident that has left a male with non-life threatening injuries.

Reports are that on Sunday 13th May 2018, shortly before 12midnight, police received information of gunshots fired in the area of a business establishment on Don McKay Blvd. Officers responded and further investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the parking lot of that establishment. The victim who received a gunshot wound to the left arm, was taken to the Marsh Harbor Clinic via private vehicle, he was seen by doctor and is listed in stable condition.

ARMED ROBBERY – ABACO

Abaco, Bahamas – Reports are that on Friday 18th May 2018, shortly before 2:00am, a male reported that while on the outside of his residence in Hope Town, Abaco, two mask males, one armed with a firearm, robbed him off cash and personnel items before fleeing on foot.

Police in Abaco are actively investigating this matter.

Two Males Arraigned in the Magistrate Court in Abaco on Causing Grievous Harm and Stealing

Abaco, Bahamas – Obrien Reckley age 24 years of Murphy Town, Abaco, was arraigned before Magistrate Ancella Evans in Magistrate Court, Abaco on Causing Grievous Harm, he pleaded not guilty and was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until trial on Monday 18th June 2018

This is in connection with a matter reported to police on Sunday 13th May 2018.

Louiciux Timotee age 19 years of the Mudd, Abaco, was arraigned before Magistrate Ancella Evans in Magistrate Court, Abaco on Stealing charges, he pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing.

This is in connection with a matter reported to police on Tuesday 15th May 2018.

Armed Robbery – Spanish Cay

Abaco, Bahamas – Police in Abaco need the public’s assistance in finding the culprits who robbed a business establishment on Spanish Cay, Abaco.

Reports are that on Sunday 27th May 2018, shortly after 10:00pm, two male culprits, both reportedly armed with firearms, entered a business establishment on Spanish Cay, accosted two employees and stole cash before making good their escape.

Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the general public for any information that can assist in this matter to call them at telephone numbers in Abaco at 367-2560/367-3437, in Grand Bahama at 350-3107 thru12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.
