American Airlines Adds Direct Route from Charlotte to Marsh Harbour

By Joanne Feinstein

Recently, as part of the biggest Caribbean bound flight expansion in the past few years, American Airlines announced that they would be launching a year-round route from Charlotte to Marsh Harbour.

Starting in December this new non-stop route will fly from CLT to MHH every Saturday, making it more accessible than ever for people to travel to Marsh Harbour on one of the largest carriers in the world.

There are four major airlines (Delta, American, BahamasAir and Silver Airways) that fly direct from the United States to Marsh Harbour.

This newest hub from Charlotte will be a well-received addition and just another example of the rapid growth of visitors to the Abaco region. As Marsh Harbour Airport continues to expand its services this will only mean more opportunities for local resorts, restaurants, and other businesses to show visitors what the area has to offer.

From the white sand beaches and turquoise waters all over the Abaco Cays, Abaco is positioned to become the next “must-visit” vacation destination.
