Interact Clubs Collaborate to Clean Owanta’s Pond

On March 18, 2017 the Interact Clubs of St. Francis de Sales and Forest Heights, joined by their advisors and members of the Rotary Club, took part in a joint service project to clean and restore Owanta’s Pond in Marsh Harbour.

Rotary District 7020 Youth Chair Rema Martin and Past President Tanya Woodside also visited Abaco to lend a hand to the group.

The young service clubs cleaned up the pond, repainted the gazebo and trimmed surrounding trees. They were donated paint by The Paint Place.
