New Business: Finders Keepers Used Goods

Mr. and Mrs. Reynald Joseph opened their used goods store in Marsh Harbour on June 11. Located opposite Memorial Plaza, the shop offers an assortment of merchandise that was bought outright by the owners or left on consignment.

In Finders Keepers, you will find whatever you are looking for: a set of tools, cutlery for a rental apartment, light fixtures, art work, furniture, small appliances and much more, except clothes.

Should you need a larger appliance such a refrigerator, a washer, a dryer, or a stove you could place your order with Sophia Joseph and with a fifty per cent deposit, she will find you what you need during one of her regular trip to the United States. Appliances usually sell for $450.00, including freight and customs formalities. The goods are guaranteed to be in working order.

The Josephs also buy certain merchandise outright or will offer it for sale on consignment for you with a charge of fifty per cent of the selling price.

Mr. & Mrs. Joseph came back to The Bahamas from Iowa where Mr. Joseph, who was born in Nassau, lived for a number of years. The couple have a two month-old baby.

The shop is opened five days a week from Tuesday to Saturday. Hours of business are 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Thursday; the store is opened until 6pm on Friday and from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
