Owned by Lynn and Farris Nicholson, the store caters to every hair and beauty supply need, and is outfitted with fashion jewelry and accessories, body lotions and fragrances, a collection of name-brand ladies’ bags, and authentic MAC, Clinique and Black Opal make-up brands.

Make-Up Artist Kendoll Magic was also on location to glamorize the faces of customers requesting makeovers, and they were all pleased with their natural, finished look.

During the brief opening ceremony, Pastor Silbert Mills of the Bahamas Christian Network (BCN), delivered a powerful prayer for the success and protection of the new business.

The cutting of the ribbon was done by Greta Strachan-Culmer, who was pleased to carry out the honours. Tasty finger foods, beverages, fruit and dessert were served to all patrons stopping by to view the store during its opening.

Glimmer ‘N’ Gloss also offered prizes and giveaways to the delight of customers including the chance to win a full Remy installation with every $70 and over purchase.
