The winning team for BAHMUN 2016 is Forest Heights Academy. The team of Donte Richard and Cole Albury represented the United States. Their Advisor was Nadira Kawalram (center). The team will accompany the Bahamas delegation to the United Nations in New York next October and will have the privilege of hearing The Bahamas address to The UN by Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. The Camp typically includes exposing students to all aspects of marine mammal science, such as scientific data collection, acoustic monitoring of a local population of Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and photo-identification.
