Sudden Death

Police are reporting that on Friday 20th February 2016 shortly before 10:00pm, 38 year old Dominic Lloyd of Green Turtle Cay, while at a party at a business establishment, collapsed and died.

He was later pronounced dead by the local doctor.

Police were called to the scene, investigation into this matter is ongoing.

 

Armed Robbery

Police in Abaco need your assistance in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday 18th February 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 10:00pm, four males while in the area of a Regattas in Marsh Harbour, were held up at gunpoint and robbed of personnel items by three masked males who were armed with handguns. The culprits then fled the area on foot.

 

Structure Fire

Police in Abaco are investigating a house fire that has left an 86 year old female with serious injuries.

Reports are that on Thursday 18th February 2016, shortly after 10:00pm, police in Crown Haven were alerted to a house fire of a single wooden structure. Officers along with other residents assisted the elderly female who reside at that residence and also with extinguishing the fire that completely destroyed the wooden structure. The elderly female was taken to the Cooper’s Town Government Clinic for medical attention and is said to be listed in serious condition. She was later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention.

 

Burnt Body Discovered

Police in Abaco are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for the death of a male. This is Abaco’s first homicide for the year.

Reports are that on Tuesday 9th February 2016 shortly after 9:00pm, the badly burnt body of a male was discovered in bushes off S.C Bootle Highway. The body was examined by doctor and pronounced dead.
