On Saturday, Feb. 6, the Kiwanis Club of Abaco’s President Neulessa Major along with SLP Director Raisa Hamilton, and St. Francis de Sales Builders Club Vice President Petera Major travelled to Man-O-War Cay to install the officers and members  of one of their newest K-Kids family – the K-Kids of Man-O-War Cay Primary School.

The newly installed officers are: Erica Roberts, President; Nathan Sweeting, Vice President; Keira Albury, Secretary; Isabella Albury, Treasurer; Jason Bethel, Sergeant-at-Arms; Aidan Albury, Projects Chairman; Cameron Collie, Editor; and Myron Bethel, Chaplain.

Major shared that the students were very excited, and so were the parents who attended the installation ceremony. President Erica listed a few of the projects and fundraisers the members have already planned, which includes visiting and reading to the elderly, organizing beach clean-ups and having bake sales.

“We want to thank Ms. Emily and Ms. Strachan for agreeing to be the K-Kids Advisors, and we express gratitude to Principal Christine Brown for allowing us to begin this new chapter at the school,” Major expressed.
