Pickle Ball is a game that has taken off across North America in recent years. A sort of hybrid between paddle ball and tennis played with a wiffle ball, it is a fun game and a great way to exercise.

Recently, at the Leeward Yacht Club on Green turtle Cay, a dozen players, both new and seasoned, played what is hoped becomes a regular fixture.

Teams were appropriately named: Sweet Pickle, Toxic Sweat , Rock Stars , Sweaty Betty , Injury Prone and, the winning team, Curly Tails battled it out.

The prize was the glory of victory and a gift certificate to the Lizzard Bar and Grill. As well as a very silly hat.

If there are other players and clubs out there the GTC players are open to competition. Contact Ken Aiken kenaiken780@icloud.com
