Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

On 7th of December I slipped and fell from my two story roof that I was painting, breaking my neck, back, three ribs, puncturing a lung and splitting my spleen.

I remember walking up in Princess Margaret Hospital, in Nassau, two weeks later in the I.C.U.

I would like to thank all the people that pitched in and helped me in my recovery. I am most grateful every day I wake up to a new day.

Thanks to you, my family, all the people that supported the art auction, the fellow artist and businesses, neighbors and friends alike.

Thank you to the health care professionals, the clinic & air ambulance (which I do not remember), the Princess Margaret Hospital, that I found hardworking, caring and understaffed.

Also thank you to my Church family at New Vison Church and the other churches up and down the shore that included me in their prayers.

I am most grateful,

Don Wood
