Following a break-in at Central Abaco Primary School (CAPS) last year, the school sought assistance from corporate sponsors to replace their stolen computers.
Principal Beatrice Moxey explained that while the computers were recovered by officers of the Marsh Harbour Police Station, they were no longer functional.
The Water & Sewerage Corporation responded to the school’s cry for help.
On April 15, Barrington Murphy, Water & Sewerage Corporation’s Abaco area manager, visited the school to make a presentation of a brand new CPU, computer monitor, mouse and keyboard. Students and staff members were grateful for the donation.
Moxey added that Commonwealth Bank will make their donation of three computers along with accessories at a later date.
