The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Works and Urban Renewal, Philip Brave Davis, made a brief visit on March 11 to inspect ongoing road works in the Central Abaco area.

Mr. Davis was pleased with the progress made by Bill Simmons Construction and Heavy Equipment Company on the roads in Murphy and Dundas Town as well as the road stripping of the roads in Marsh Harbour.

He said that the work entailed hot mix on the road from Murphy Town to Dundas Town and would include some of the cross roads connecting to Forest Drive.

Timothy had his first venture into Journalism just months after graduating from Queen’s College in Nassau taking his first job with The Tribune in 1991 leaving in 1992 for other pursuits.
