Developing a Sixth Sense with NIB

Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I believe it to be the duty of our National Insurance Board to make us stronger, faster, better, and more adapt to our surroundings. How do you ask? Many ways of course!

1. Developing a “sixth sense”. Somehow, we as sight dependent beings are expected to know someone is behind the cashier window in our local NIB office.

2. Developing better hearing. Whispering through a tiny hole in a blacked out window makes you depend on hearing and hearing alone. God forbid you have slight hearing loss.

3. Somewhat a repeat of the first but they help our community develop a sense of being nocturnal. We can now walk around our homes safely at night because we’ve practiced “seeing” the person behind the cashier window.
