David Smith Sr. has not heard from his son in almost four weeks and is now appealing to the public to bring whatever information they have forward, no matter how small, to help bring resolution to his whereabouts.

David Smith Jr., 22 years-old, was last seen on Friday, November 21 when he was on his way to pick-up an engine from a scrap yard on S.C. Bootle Highway. According to Mr. Smith his son was last seen at the scrap yard and has apparently vanished.

Mr. Smith said that his son did not pick up his salary that day and did not come home that night. He, nor his daughter, have heard from him since.

Several men were picked up for questioning but have since been released. Police investigations into the matter are still ongoing.

Mr. Smith said his son was wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt, black or dark sweat pants and Nike tennis shoes. He is asking that anyone who saw anything or has any detail about his son to come forward.
