Last month the Government Departments for Central Abaco District Social Club held a Jelly Bean Count fundraiser. The funds raised will go towards the Club’s end of the year initiatives. The second place winner of the count was St. Francis de Sales School and the closest count went to Julia Lauren.

Last month the Government Departments for Central Abaco District Social Club held a Jelly Bean Count fundraiser. The funds raised will go towards the Club’s end of the year initiatives. The second place winner of the count was St. Francis de Sales School and the closest count went to Julia Lauren.

The amount of beans was 1,943. St. Francis guessed 1,999 which won the school the container of jelly beans.

Julia Lauren came the closest with a guess of 1,987. She won a Samsung Young phone, which was donated by BTC.

The Social Club also gave a monetary donation to St. Francis de Sales for selling the most tickets to the event.
