The Central Abaco District Council met on November 24 and were informed that their budgets would go back to normal this month with their proper allocations expected to return by the beginning of next year.

Since the new budget year began, the Council, and subsequently the Townships under it, have not received their full allocations. After numerous meeting and communications with Central Government the budget allocations are now expected to return to normal by 2015.

A letter from Kiwanis Club indicated that they, along with their youth clubs, would like to adopt and beautify the new roundabout on S. C. Bootle Highway. The Council liked the idea but are seeking more details.

The council also discussed matters surrounding contract workers.
