On Nov. 11, Carina Ferguson and Lisa Higgs along with the staff of Chelsea’s Choice presented a cheque of $1,500 to Jo-Ann Bradley, president of the Abaco Cancer Society.

During the month of October, pink caps were placed on water bottles to promote breast cancer awareness, and customers were encouraged to purchase the water in support of the worthy cause.

Bradley commended the Chelsea’s Choice staff for their participation as she disclosed that the Abaco Cancer Society was able to assist 68 people with their travel expenses from funds raised on their behalf.

“It’s a wonderful thing you’ve done,” Bradley said, appreciatively.

Ferguson was hopeful that the funds they had raised would further assist those battling cancer, and she added that the company would be looking forward to assisting the Abaco Cancer Society again next year.
