Protect Our Native Species

Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

The students from Man-O-War Primary School would like for you to putting this message in your newspaper.

We want people to protect our native species. People can do this by educating themselves by reading information on the internet, visiting Friends of the Environment and other places.

If we don’t do something soon, it will only get worse. The lionfish are eating up all of our native fish and the cane toad is eating up our native frogs.

We believe that everyone should do their part to protect our native species.

Yours truly,

Man-O-War Primary School,

Grades 1, 2, and 3

I picked up a copy of your paper at the airport on the way out, and read with interest the leader on the forthcoming elections, noting that your brother was a candidate. In fact the name Albury cropped up in one or two other places as well, so I assume there are long historical connections with the Abacos.
