Employees of Royal Bank of Canada, Marsh Harbour Branch came out in support of Marsh Harbour Volunteer Fire and Rescue’s (MHVFR) fundraiser on Saturday, August 16.
Besides helping throughout the afternoon at the fire station, RBC also made a donation of $1000 to the fire department as the bank seeks assist charitable organizations.
The fire department held a souse out starting early in the morning, featuring chicken, pigs feet and wild boar souse, successfully selling out. Then starting at 11am firemen manned grills cooking up burgers and hotdogs, and selling deserts and drinks.
The fundraiser was well supported and Fire Chief Danny Sawyer was grateful to RNC’s show of support and donation as well as the many volunteers who cooked souse and donated items for the fundraiser.
