Agape Christian School’s 4th, 5th, and 6th grades performed a Christmas musical “For Christmas This Year” written and directed by Courtnee Romer, Teacher of Drama, Music and English Language, on December 12th and 13th.

The play addressed the issue that sometimes life is difficult and there may be struggles people face daily; however, in this play a young girl finds Christ and asks for the assistance of Christians at a church she attends to help out a family who is struggling.

In the end they are able to share God’s love and give the best gift ever “For Christmas this Year” which is Jesus.

The well prepared students performed their parts in the play very well and along with several musical numbers the message was well conveyed.

Uplifting and encouraging songs left parents, family members and friends with the thought on their minds that Jesus is the best gift for “Christmas this year”.
