Treasure Cay Hotel & Marina Make Donations

Donations of school materials were made to several schools across Abaco in early September by Treasure Cay Hotel & Marina Limited.

Representing Treasure Cay Hotel & Marina Limited, Noel St. Claude said the resort believes in giving back to the community and “we feel this donation will assist with education.” He said the donation includes pens, pencils, exercise books, flash cards, calculators and some sporting equipment.

The supplies were donated to J A Pinder, Crossing Rocks Primary, Fox Town Primary and Every Child Counts (ECC).

Nicole DeNardin, art teacher and Special Olympics Director at ECC, said that they appreciate the donation.

“We run the school on donations and anything the community can give back. We think it’s important for fellow schools and persons in the community to recognize the needs we have and we are really honored to be able to receive it,” she said. She added that they were especially grateful for the sporting equipment.
