After Shock program resumes in Cherokee

The CMI-After Shock program for teenagers resumed its meetings on Thursday evenings at The Old Schoolhouse in Cherokee on September 13. Headed up by Andy and Sheri Lowe of Yellow Wood, they were also joined by Dana Lowe, as their head Counselor, Chairman Saunders, Peggy Albury and Lee Pinder who helped with the cooking.

They celebrated by having a Mexican Fiesta Party with all the fixings.  Twenty four young people attended, ate a variety of Mexican foods, played games, learned some important lessons on how to live a Christian Life and gathered on the court to finish off the evening with a game of basketball.

Everyone had a good time. Next week the young people will be preparing for an individual Talent Night on Thursday and a cook-out at the Long Dock on Saturday evening.
